Just recently though, every time I turn it off, the wifi connection has been dropped when I turn it back on. Easy fix is disable the wifi then enable it again, (on the TV), and it picks it up again. Turned everything off at the mains, (TV, Router, Wireless access point). Reset TV to initial settings and started again.
2. Power Cycle Your LG TV. Often, app problems are caused by random TV software glitches. As with most software problems, the best solution is to turn it off and back on again. However, pressing the power button won’t actually reboot your LG webOS TV. Instead of turning off, your TV enters standby mode when you press the off button.

Unplug Soundbar, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. When reconnected to your TV, use the remote to access the TV sound settings. Find the Sound submenu and the Sound Out. Ensure the Sound is set to LG Sound Sync and not the TV. Select the correct device (either by wireless, Bluetooth, or physical connection).

What you need to do is turn off dual band settings or the 5ghz setting on your router. OR you can do what I did and just name your 5 ghz wifi a different name than your 2.4ghz. Then connect to the 2.4 ghz wifi. This will ensure that your tv is not trying to connect to 5ghz.
